Wisdom

Wisdom is knowing and having discernment, so that we can apply the truth of the Word of God at the right time, in the right way, and with the right motive.

Wisdom is the power of the soul to know truth. The rational mind can prohibit comprehending truth; through the heart we can perceive and understand the deepest truths.

To desire what is good for oneself and to seek prosperity or happiness is part of man's nature, and it is not a sin or vice. But we need to know, here on earth true and perfect happiness and prosperity will never be. For all of prosperity and happiness is only in God.

God, you are worthy of all my praise, and You created me to praise You! So please show me how to worship you in all that I do! When people look back on my life, I want them to give You glory. So please teach me how to make my life an act of worship. In Jesus' name, Amen.
